【江戸屋商店 / Edoya Shoten】

●Step back in time at Edoya Shoten, a traditional Japanese shop with a legacy spanning nearly two centuries! Established in 1832, Edoya is renowned for its exquisite “Goma Dofu” (sesame tofu), a handcrafted delicacy perfect as a savory appetizer or a sweet treat.

Indulge in a variety of flavors, from classic black and white sesame to unique options like matcha, strawberry, and chocolate. While you’re there, browse a selection of local wines, regional specialties, and marvel at antique artifacts like abacuses, sewing machines, and cabinets that create a nostalgic ambiance. Edoya also features a cozy eatery where you can savor handmade “Hōtō” noodles, a hearty Yamanashi specialty.

Bus: From Isawa-Onsen Station, take the Fujikyu bus bound for “Uguisudani” and get off at “Narahara” bus stop.
Car: 10 minutes from Fuefuki-Yatsushiro Smart Interchange on the Chuo Expressway

●創業は1832年。時代は令和となり、約200年という歴史を積み重ねてきた江戸屋商店。当店の看板商品である「ごまどうふ」は、お酒のつまみにも、食後のデザートにもなる、すべて職人による手作りの逸品。黒、白、抹茶、いちご、チョコなど、多種多様な味をご賞味ください。
店内では「ごまどうふ」の他に県産ワインや特産品などが販売されており、昔から使用していたそろばん、ミシン、タンスなどが並べられ、懐かしい雰囲気が漂っています。また、手打ちほうとうを食べられる食事処も備えています。
